Default So I have my fantasy draft tonight...

And I'm looking for a bit of an edge. I know a good bit about hockey, but I don't know everything about the mid-tier guys. I am looking for some suggestions on some mid-late round gems that might be around and will help my team gain an edge. It is an 8-team league . Thanks to anyone who helps.(Draft is at 8 EST)

Why aren't you in our league is a better question?

Anyway, 8 team league you shouldn't be looking for "mid round gems" because there won't be any. There's only 8 teams. You will all have stacked rosters so I would make sure you get one of whoever you considered the premier goaltenders, if not two, because with 8 teams - everyone's offense will be loaded to the max anyway and it's pretty much going to be luck on that side off the puck.

Then again, I'm the guy who drafted Kipper with the last pick in the 1st round (Lecavalier immediate after) and he has done **** for me so far.

LMAO, never got an invite to your league Cuse. I guess missing the playoffs in the baseball league will get ya that treatment

And I'm drafting so late because before the season I couldn't round up enough people, always ended with 5-6 every time I tried. Finally got enough and drafted 'em up last night. I had to go with my boy Sid at #1
