10* Toronto Maple Leafs(-110) Over Montreal Canadiens

Toronto had some good preseason games and I think they want to come out with guns blazing after spending a lot of money in the off season retooling there team. I think it's going to take a little while for Montreal to get going. I'm not a fan of there moves and I don't have high expectations for them. This is a big season for Toronto and a lot of people are expecting to break the four year playoff less streak. Opening night, rival battle and being at home the edge goes to Toronto.

10* Vancouver Canucks/Calgary Flames Over 5.5 (-105)

Probably a bit of a reach with this over here considering only 4 of the last ten between these two have gone O5.5. But still I like this line. Both teams have solid offensive players and both teams had no issues scoring goals this preseason. I know it's hard to judge a team off preseason but Vancouver averaged 6.7 gpg while Calgary had averaged 5.6 gpg. I see this being a tight affair something like a 4-3 type game.

CS- GL!.....like the plays....debated the VAN over but opted for CAL instead....

tough ending there on that TOR game CS.....late PP goal and then a really bad goal at the end of OT doomed TOR.....
