Default What in the hell is a 'fight strap'?
Figured someone here would know....heard a guy on VS refer to a player who intentionally removed his 'fight strap' last night. Never played the game, but also have never heard of this term. Anyone know?

It is a strap that is sewn onto the back of a jersey, and then attached to a player's pants in order to assure that the jersey does not come over a players head, or right off during a fight.

Also known as the "Rob Ray" rule.
