Ok, I missed some match-ups for the first round. Second round one stands out so much I have to play it. Tiger has a line against Kim, although I believe Anthony is playing much better after the wrist surgery, I believe his game is not top notch yet. His iron play which is his strong suit, has not fully come around. His irons into the green have lately left him quite a distance from the hole. In previous years the guy could stick it. He will eventually come around. Not now. Tiger pretty much the same thing but no surgery. His isn't physical, the mental aspect of losing your wife and not seeing your kids whenever he likes will always be a factor but something he must overcome. He puts it together this week and I like him to have a good year. If the guy gets his focus back........look out.

Forgot to factor in one more thing about Tiger, the "frustration club slamming" factor. Way to lose your cool. Kim played out of his shoes and the long irons were his best friend. A nice -5 second round has him just 2 shots back. Big surprise of the day, John Daly. The big fella really has found a way to put nice touch on the short wedges to give himself a reasonable putt within 12-15 feet. Can he keep it up?? I bet the meltdown today. I mean, why not. Dude has had a hard time holding it together when he does make the cut. Now if I can only find the line

2-1 yesterday. Phil really taking it to the field. Never found the Daly line and now we know why. Classic meltdown from big John again. He'll have a good day today with the pressure off. Today's plays........
