Waste Management Phoenix Open
Couple of first round head-to-heads I like very much. How 'bout Johnny Vegas?? Gotta like this guy. Comes from the nationwide and almost pulls off 2 in a row. terrific natural swing. Great with distance and control. Which brings me to a match-up against Villegas. This dude can't get it together, he's the Tours Kournakova. All looks and no game. Great spot for Vegas to continue rolling. First round could be up in the air not knowing dudes full routine yet. Couple of stats to look at so far for Johnny.
Scoring Average Before Cut 67.50, good for third. GIR Percentage - < 75 yards 100.00% goof for first. GIR Percentage from Other than Fairway 72.13% good for eighth. Vegas -125 over Villegas....................2 unit. Kim -165 over Hoffman.......................1 unit. Appleby +105 over O'Hair..................1 unit. Overall winner: Going with D. Johnson again +1000.............1 unit. GL on Thursday.

Wow. Was and easy win with Vegas over a floundering Camilo. Dude went 78 shooting a 42 on the front nine and now has withdrawn for the tourney
