Im into movies and gambling. Put the two together and it's a great thing! So anyway, wanted to see how everyone's favorite gambling movies compare to mine. I'm pretty big on Rounders and Casino is a classic!! What are some of your favorite gambling movies?!

Bookies... this is a movie that never got much press, but I thought it was pretty good.


Also, 21 that just came out on video a little while ago is good. Its based on the book bringing down the house. One of my fav books.

I'm surprised to hear you say that, Kev. Two for the Money is quite possibly the WORST movie ever made in my humble opinion. I wouldn't think anyone who is a semi-intelligent gambler, and you are far above that line, would enjoy or endorse that movie. The only saving grace of that movie is the 45 second monlogue Pacino does when he takes McConaghy into the Gamblers Anonymous meeting and does his speech about how gamblers enjoy losing more than winning. It's this ****ed up need to feel something. To convince yourself you exist. That's the problem.

I was just listing the movie as a gambling movie. I agree, it wasn't very good. I dont like how cocky M.M. is in real life or his movies. Dude irks me out. Really thinks highly of himself.

I do like Pacino though. He acted well in them movie.

Brandon Langs story and his real life as a handicapper makes me wanna puke. Way overblown.

Anyhoo, in summary, I was just listing it as a gambling movie, not one I think is the best.

I haven't seen many, but 21 was worth watching. The twist at the end had me fooled badly.

i know Oceans Eleven doesnt exactly qualify but God help me I love that movie.

its showing 2x now on TNT tonight, and I'm watching both lol and I own the movie!

I dont know why but even if I own a movie I'll still watch it on TV with the commercials and all.
