nothing compared to what Dubya has done to this country in 8 years.
here's a summary of his first 4. 100 Facts and 1 Opinion FF you're a cool guy, bantering with ya on sports, and random things among other shyt is great, and if I'm way off base, then I apologize ahead of time. but. it's quite obvious (again if I'm wrong, sorry) that you're a republican. I'd like to think I'm not Republican nor Democrat, but honestly my views tend to tip over to the democrat side. doesn't mean I whole-heartedly accept them or agree with their views. IMO this country needs a break from the BUSHES and the CLINTONS. 24 minimum, 28 maximum years of both is not something I want to fathom. I know shit about politics, but man it does cause a big stir in anyone. I'm slowly learning that everyone is gonna have their own opinion, and if they are firm rock solid on it, they won't budge and there's no point. the problem is when it gets nasty, the arguing, the name calling, or essentially the animosity between people just because of differing views. LOL sorry FF, not knocking on ya, or I do not intend to at least. I know politics and religion is very touchy, I just wanted to share my thoughts that this shyt is complicated, and down right nasty. You can't seem to trust ANYONE. but on the lighter side, if our worst problem is hanging chads, and how the electoral college is outdated, as long as we address it sometime and fix it, things COULD be worse. it could be like other countries whose citizens are threatened if they don't vote a certain way, or people who get killed for just going to vote. we are lucky in that respect. sorry bro just thinking out loud, I do agree about Hilary on the whole. Sad thing is I was first eligible to vote when I turned 18, it was Bush vs. Gore. I didn't like either, so I didnt register. then it was Bush and Kerry. same deal. now I think (for me at least, not trying to schill anyone or sway anyone from any one candidate), if things shake out the way they are, I will register to vote but soley for against McCain. For personal reasons (valid ones), I cannot support this man and will not, and even if it means Hilary I will vote for the lesser of two evils. it is sad when you have to vote "for the lesser of two evils" Ron Paul dammit! LOL just a shout out for beerman and billy lol I would vote for Paul if he was relevant.

Q-im not anything, but i can tell you one thing, i am an economic conservative!!!! The only person who wants government in their lives is sombody who is a lazy fuck and wants to take a handout. I have a friend who has a retarded brother who not only lives on his own, but holds down a 40 hour a week job. Get off your fking ass and do something. I am sick and tired of paying for illegals and people who don't want to fking work Q, and so are a lot of people. I don't think ANY politician is doing a good job right now. I would get rid of every single one of them if i could. And Q, go ahead and vote against McCain and for Clinton. You will see about 30% less of your paycheck each month... A lot of those programs that were being slashed in your article are programs basically giving people MY fking money. Housing projects with moms with 8 kids running around and mom has no job. And that's my fault??? How about we stop enabling people to be lazy in this world. I am all for helping a Vet that fought for our country and now needs my help!! We misplace our funds, as well. Instead of giving 4B in welfare to inner city people, how about taking that 4B and upgrading schools so there are no excuses afterwards. You didn't get an education, tough shit. That was your choice and society isn't going to pay for your ass now. All the money that is going to house illegals in jails could be spent on better programs. The laundry list of wasted and misplaced money by our government is staggering. In my world if there are 10 people who need money and 10.00 to give them, i take the 5 people who really want to help themselves and give them 2 bucks and i tell the 5 worthless lazy people to fk off and stick it. The government on the other hand thinks everyone deserves 2.00...... i just post this stuff Q to make people aware. Do with it what you want. But all this stuff is substantiated and documented and they are facts. Im just tired of people freeloading and the older i get and the more i understand how the world works, the madder i get. I see no viable candidate to vote for right now and i will vote with my wallet and will vote for whoever is for "less government".

good points. I agree mostly.
shit man I'm sure you saw what I wrote in your other post. I am dead serious when I say I am not racist, I have many hispanic friends, have gone out with many as such, and have and do know many "immigrants" (illegal or not). on a personal level when you meet one who only wanted to not starve and did whatever they could even if it means coming over here and working and just survive, you feel bad, and you sympathize. but yeh when you look at it from a national level, its unacceptable! and its a broken system. we bitch about them coming over here, but the govt looks the other way as the beef industry gets rich off of cheap labor. the biggest problem I still think, thats the most easily able to fix, is...no more signs in Spanish at Wal-Mart or anywhere. you create an environment of comfort, can you blame them for coming over and squating? for every one nice person (even if they are here "illegally) who deserves a better life, who are genuinely good people, there are many more who don't respect what they have, who do break the law, and who are a burden. I know one good out of a batch of bunch of bad doesn't make it legal or right, but from a personal standpoint, good people are good people with or without opportunities that we all are lucky we have here. but it is not healthy for a struggling country as a whole as it is. and I still think what I mentioned above about just taking down all those signs is something very significant yet easy to do. it would start something, and thats better than nothing IMO. cannot create an environment of comfort where they dont need to assimilate into our society and then bitch about it. (not you FF, the govt. LOL) just saying. taxes would hit you harder as a business owner, and if/when I am there, I'm sure I will bitch too. right now high taxes is not something I approve of, but I guess it doesnt affect me as much. good points tho man ![]()

I know shit, but as I am getting older, I'm slowly learning shit and it does irk me how this country works. could be worse (like being killed just to vote) but could be a lot better (like relying on 200 million votes for our president instead of "electoral" representatives, a system sorely outdated since the Civil War for Christ's Sake). ![]()

OK I got one better than that For some odd reason the Republican Party here in WV (which Im a member of but dont agree with what they did) Decided that our election date of 1st Tues in May would not have an impact on how we voted. So in turn the they decided to have a Republican Convention on Super Tuesday. About 1200 people showed up to vote. Now how these people where picked is beyond me. So anyway heres what happened: The WV Republican Primary is a complicated thing as is really composed of three lesser parts. However, the largest part, the part that awards 18 delegates (of the 30 total) is the States Republican convention on Super Tuesday. The vote is done and, as I predicted last friday, Mike Huckabee won the 18 delegates in WV with 567 delegate votes - just outstripping Mitt Romney who garnered 521 votes. John McCain was in a pitiful last place with just 12 votes. The West Virginia convention took two rounds of voting to reach this conclusion. In the first round Romney had actually won but no candidate garnered 50% of the votes so they declared a re-vote. In the re-vote the lowest vote getting candidate, Ron Paul in this instance, was excluded from the second round. There are 12 left, with 9 not determined until May 13th's actual primary vote. But I doubt those 12 will really have much bearing on the rest of the primary season. Now what they forget to tell you is that the McCain people decided that Romney was evil and turned there votes to Huckabee. McCain's goal after seeing he would not win the 18 votes was to make sure Romney did not win. Oh it was a big mess here for a couple days. Sad thing is their was not a darn thing anybody could do to stop it. I still say like the old Brewster's Million Movie. Vote none of the above. Nothing is never going to get fixed right if we dont vote to fix Washington First. |
