I'm back here after a while from being gone. My internet went down when I was in full stride of my run earlier in the year. I ended up going to a friends house to submit my bets, and didn't have enough time to track them on the forum. I ended up reaching my goal.. hope everyone had fun, and made some mad money on it!
Time to rip up Euro 08!!! Portugal vs. Turkey Draw (3.25) - $500 to win $1,125 --- Everyone thinks Portugal is the right choice in this one. Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldo. That's pretty much all you hear. Make the case that Portugal has something to prove here, and Ronaldo will want his revenge, but I don't buy it. Yes, it is all true, but Turkey is not a team to just roll over and let that happen. Nihat Kahveci, on the other hand DOES have something to prove. With Sukur gone, Kahcveci will step up his play and make sure Turkey doesn't fall behind right off the bat. Portugal is far from stellar on D, and it will show tomorrow in my opinion. This game gets locked at 1-1, or 2-2. __________________________________________________ _______________________ Switzerland vs. Czech Republic Under 2.5 Goals 1.65 - $1,000 to win $650 --- I can't see how in the world the Swiss are going to score in this one. Also on the other end, I can't see the Czech scoring either. If they do, I don't see them getting more then 1 goal. With a goal to spare, i'll eat that small piece of chalk. __________________________________________________ _______________________ France to win Euro 08 (8:1) - $200 to win $2,000 Good luck everyone. Yeah, after the 1H it didn't look like CZE would even have a chance. Swiss sure did get screwed with that hand ball though. Either way.. this one should cash.
