LEAR’S PRINCESS will either sit just behind a forced pace or track possible lone speed HYSTERICALADY. We like the way LEAR’S PRINCESS performed winning the GAZELLE-G1 when cutting back to 1 1/18 miles and adding blinkers. She looks like a good filly with more improvement to come.

HYSTERICALADY could still get the lead by herself in here despite her wide post and she looked great winning the much easier MOLLY PITCHER-G2, but that race was at Monmouth and she certainly knows how to win.

There’s a bunch in here that could press the probable pacesetter but LADY JOANNE looks like a tryer and could be the one that battles into the stretch. Of course that will set the race up for either LEAR’S PRINCESS or UNBRIDLED BELLE. We think the latter will need an absolutely perfect trip to win this however, as she doesn’t look quite as light on her feet as LEAR’S PRINCESS. That being said, she did wear down likely favorite INDIAN VALE in the Beldame-G1 after experiencing some minor traffic trouble. And her late stride in that race reminded us of her grandfather UNBRIDLED.

GINGER PUNCH and INDIAN VALE have both the numbers and talent to win this but the former is coming off a subpar effort. The latter we still like because she looks like a fighter, but she will be the favorite and we’re looking to make some money. Still, her best race at the distance is probably better than most of these can come up with. Logical favorite.

We’re throwing TEAMATE into our exotics on the Giant Killer trainer angle, just in case an all-out battle develops on the turn. H. Allen Jerkens has posted much bigger upsets than this, and this filly did finish well in her last, the Spinster-G1.
