The Kansas City Chiefs go on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. This is one of only 2 games in week 9 that have teams with winning records. The Chiefs got back on the winning track by beating the Denver Broncos on Monday night football. The Chiefs offense was not quite as potent as usual as they got a defensive touchdown and 5 field goals. The lone offensive touchdown came from an Alex Smith to Travis Kelce hookup. The Cowboys will have Zeke Elliott for at least one more game. This line opened up as a pick'em and with the news of Elliott’s reinstatement the line moved to Dallas -2.5. The Chiefs enter the game leading the AFC West by 2.5 games. The Cowboys are fighting to stay in playoff contention as they trail the Philadelphia Eagles by 2.5 games in the NFC East.

Chiefs QB Alex Smith is off to a great start to what could possibly be his last year in Kansas City. Smith is 2nd in the NFL with 2,181 yards completing 69.1 of his passes. He has thrown for 16 touchdowns and has not yet been intercepted. Smith has also been effective scrambling as he has gained 154 yards rushing. Rookie RB Kareem Hunt, who was not expected to be a starter this season until Spencer Ware went down with a season ending injury, has been off to an amazing start. Hunt leads the NFL in rushing with 763 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns and has added another 2 touchdowns and 307 yards receiving. The receiving game is led by Tyreek Hill who has big play ability with his amazing speed and TE Travis Kelce. Kelce has 44 receptions for 556 yards and 4 touchdowns and Hill has 553 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Cowboys are led by 2nd year QB Dak Prescott who has completed 62.8% of his passes 1,569 yards, 14 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. The Cowboys stud RB has rushed for 690 yards and 6 touchdowns. Dez Bryant again leads the Cowboy receivers with 366 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Jerbeek’s Pick to Cover the Point Spread: I don't think the Chiefs can stop Elliott with the great offensive line. I look for the Cowboys to prevail in this game by a score of 27-24. - Bet your pick for this game using your credit card at an online bookie where it WILL work for deposits and where you'll receive a generous 50% signup bonus on your first deposit of $100 to $250!
