Steve McNair Murder

July 4th, 4PM PST - Reports out of Nashville, Tennessee are indicating that Steve McNair has been murdered. It is being reported that he has sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was found dead on arrival.
It is also being reported that an unidentifed woman was found dead in the apartment as well.
Details of the double-homicide are still being investigated and released.
McNair, a graduate of Alcorn State, played 13 years in the NFL and was a 3 time pro-bowler. He led the Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV and last played for the Baltimore Ravens.
More importantly, he was a "good guy" and was an asset to not just the NFL but the community in which he lived.
This is very sad news to break on one of the Nation's most celebrated holidays.

Update @ 6:18PM PST: The woman killed along with McNair was NOT his wife Mechelle. The apartment he was found in was one he was known to frequent often, but it hasn't been released if he is the owner or not. The condominium is in the upscale Rutledge Hill neighborhood.
Sunday, 7/5 Update: The police are not looking for any suspects. It now appears that the situation was a murder-suicide. The apartment was registered to McNair. The dead female was Sahel Kazemi, McNair's 20 year old girlfriend. McNair suffered from several bullet wounds including one to his head. Kazemi had one single gunshot wound to her head and a pistol was found right next to her. Listed below, is a picture of Kazemi. Sad stuff.
