NFL week 1 point spreads are out at most of the top betting shops. Most of the betting lines are consistent at the online sportsbooks for the opening week of the 2011 NFL schedule, so we're going to use 5Dimes Sportsbook as our reference.
Some of the early odds that stand out to us are the Dolphins getting 6 points at home on Monday night. This game should be a dogfight. We like the Dolphins to cover there.
Another interesting week one spread is the Lions getting 3 points at Tampa Bay. Detroit may very well win this game straight up, making them a great underdog play.
Below we have included all the week 1 NFL betting lines from 5Dimes Sportsbook. You should seriously consider checking them out as they offer reduced juice NFL betting (college as well) which will save you big money. This basically means that you lay -105 odds on games instead of -110. BIG savings!
