2009/2010 Italy Serie A Futures Odds

There is a lot of pressure on the top teams in Serie A this season. After the poor showings of the Italian teams in the Champions League the powers that be at the Champions League threatened to take away 1 of the 4 automatic Champions league berths if they do not progress further in this year's competition.
Inter Milan is the favorite to win Serie A for the 5th straight season. They have a few new forwards including Samuel Eto'o from Barcelona. These new guys have to produce, especially since goal-scoring machine Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now at Barcelona. Julio Cesar is still one of the best goalies in Serie A, the midfield is solid, and their defense is decent, as there are no real holes on club.
Juventus may be the only club that can challenge Inter Milan for the Serie A title. They brought in Diego and Felipe Melo in the off-season, but lost Cristiano Zanetti. They are an aging club, as Alessandro Del Piero signed a 2-year deal, but is closer to 40 then 30 and G Gianluigi Buffon is 34, but may still be one of the best goalies in the world.
AC Milan has had a tough off-season, as they lost Kaka, their long time captain Paolo Moldini to retirement, and David Beckham is back in L.A. The fans were so unhappy that they actually rioted outside the stadium after they sold Kaka to Real Madrid. There are even talks that young striker Pato may be heading to Chelsea. AC Milan did sign striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, but not much else, as they may have a hard time keeping up with Inter and Juventus.,
It looks as if Roma and Fiorentina will battle it out for the 4th spot unless a surprise club steps up this next season.
