Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City?
by Jason Green of Predictem.com
Manchester City has been in negotiations with several big names this off-season, as they look to get back to being one of the elite teams not only in the Premier League, but also in Europe.
Manchester City has recently been in negotiations with Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor of Arsenal. Both AC Milan and Barcelona are also both interested in the solid striker from Togo, but Manchester City have gained a jump start over those giants with opening talks on a move believed to be around £20 million.
The Arsenal Gunners tend to look to youth and not bringing in big money players, but if they lose Adebayor their offense may struggle next season. Arsenal may have to change their ways, especially if Manchester City can accomplish their goals of becoming an elite team.
Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is desperate to bring in some big name players to the Eastlands. Sky Sport has reported that Manchester City is courting Chelsea and England captain John Terry and Samuel Eto’o of Barcelona. Even though it seems a long shot that Terry will join Manchester City and Eto’o may re-sign with Barcelona soon former Manchester United striker Carlos Tavez will play for cross-town rival Manchester City next season rather than Chelsea.
There have been so many bog names that have already switched teams, such as Kaka. Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema to just name a few and many other big names have been rumored to be on the move.
