Creighton -1 @ uab


I dont see UAB coming out very strong out the gate considering Aaron Johnson and Jamar Sanders will be real tough to replace, especially Sanders . there will definately be a drop off at the PG spot. This is where i see a nice advantage tonight for Creighton with Antoine Young running the show. Creighton comes in with a couple of games under the belt, not to mention they played in summer bahamas tour, chemistry should be better for the blue jays. I think its more reasonable to assume Creighton is ahead of uab at this point. UAB is tough place to play and they still have a few weapons, mainly Cam Moore in the middle, but this game will go a long way in telling whether or not the creighton hype is justified. Moore will ahve his hands full with McDermott and Echenique

for thursday i think St Hoes beats g tech, Glen Rice isnt playing but id stil lthink the hoes wins even if he was. Also, Bama should crush maryland, thats the number i feel i need to hit on the open, but it could end up too high for me anyway, i'll likely draw the line at laying 12

in regard to iowa st game, someone out there hammered drake to send that line plummeting, turns out people knew something i didnt: that iowa st is terribly coached right now and dont have a PG. They assembled a nice collection of talent but how the hell can they decide that Scott Chrisopherson should be the primary ballhandler and bring the ball up?? Its maddening, the guy fired 6.5 3's per game last year draining 44%, but you want him to be the facilitater?? Its pathetic honestly, he should never ever play PG, let Royce White draw doubles and kick it out to him for open looks.
and Chris Allen is clearly playing at well less than 100%, someone out there knew all of this and cashed big on drake

Im adding Iona but hoping to get +4, Iona's offense should be insane this year, purdue's been chuckin and duckin so far, getting used to life without Moore and Johnson, granted the 3's have been falling but what if theyre not? Glover is a monster and adding MoMo puts this team over the top
