Does anyone bet with Bookmaker using Visa?

I put in a small amount through visa on their cashier website.. and it took me to a verified by visa page and made me create a verifiedbyvisa account before the transaction was complete.. anyone know if this is legit or an identity theft scam?? Because although it was approved, and the money is available to use in my bookmaker account.. when I went to visa's website: www.verifiedbyvisa.com it says my card is not eligible for the verifiedbyvisa program lol how is this possible if it was just approved when I created my password through their website??

Seems really sketchy.. Bookmaker was recommended to me by a lot of people so I'm just wondering what was going on.

A few years ago a friend of mine had a bodog account and he logged in from my computer, under his own account and they accussed me of having multiple accounts and asked for me to fax my social security and drivers liscene info over to prove I was who I was they confiscated all my sports betting acount funds about 530 dollars and I refuse to fax any social security and birth certificate to anyone, I said they can call me and I can verify over phone my whole account, what does it matter if I tell u or fax it? I am at risk, anyways they never chose to work with me and I never got my money, they just did bad business and I refuse to refer them that's all, bookmaker and 5 dimes have always had better customer service from my experience in 7 years of online betting.

He can use bodog, I just stated that I won't use them or refer them to anyone even if I magicly got the money they owe me...

    Hi Dukies,

Why the negative note on Bodog? Was it because of a payout that took a long time? They had some processing issues a while back but those have been rectified and they are as strong as ever. Great underdog lines too.

I have used bookmaker for 4 years now and I use my debit card for deposits, never had an issue (knocking on wood) but I have used bodog, which I strongly disapprove and would never reccomend, and 5 dimes a lot in past until netteller got distroyed... Bookmaker is a very good site and if u bet enough u get free withdrawls which on avg I have received within 5 days with check by mail... If u are into straight bet wagers I higly reccomend bookmaker.

BTW, for non americans, if you're playing anywhere other than <a href="http://www.predicctem.com/sportsbooks/pinnacle.php">Pinnacle</a>, your nuts.

Ok, mabye not nuts, but Pinny has some SICK value with their reduced odds. Rock solid as well.

Yeah, I've seen that before. No reported issues regarding the thing. Ive seen it on some big shopping sites too.

Despite not understanding the whole thing, It's legit and becoming more and more common.

Bookmaker is solid, but there's better places out there to play if you need to use a cc to sign up.

Check out our review of <a href="http://www.predictem.com/sportsbooks/intertops.php">Intertops</a> and <a href="http://www.predictem.com/sportsbooks/bodog.php">Bodog</a>.

CC will likely work at both and you won't have to pay such fat fees should you choose to w/d.

Just my opinion of course. (I do however like Bookmakers "BetPoints")
