Why did BetUs change it's URL?

I notice they changed to a Panamanian domain name? Anyone know why they would do this?

Edit - Meant to include the new URL. It's now Sports Betting & Sportsbook Online at BetUS Sportsbook

Sportsbook.com also changed to .ag which I believe is Antigua.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why the U.S. thinks they have authority on businesses that are run in other countries? How in the world does the IRS or any U.S. power have the authority to shut down a book that is run out of Costa Rica? I don't understand.

Truth is , I don't think they can . That is why they are taking a different approach which is getting between the betting shops and the banks/processors . It really is ridiculous to be honest the way they attack this industry . I think sooner or later they will end up legalizing/regulating it , that would be the smartest thing they can do IMO . I don't understand their actions either CE .

Correct , US govt. took over a few sites besides betus .
