Sunday Night Football Preview: Washington Redskins vs. New England Patriots - 10/28

Injury News: As expected by many, injury plagued Running Back DeShaun Foster has yet “another” issue and is dealing with turf toe. This could spell disaster for the Panthers starting tailback as opening the door for DeAngelo Williams may ultimately mean Foster becomes expendable or replacable in the teams future plans. In other news, Bengals RB Rudi Johnson didn’t practice Thursday and it appears that he won’t have much of a role in Sunday’s tilt vs. the Steelers. -10/25

Bad News for Jets: Linebacker Jonathan Vilma may miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury. This would be a huge blow to a Jets defense that is already suspect even with Vilma in the lineup. - 10/25

Week 8 NFL Point Spreads - 10/23

Injury Alert: Dolphins starting Running Back Ronnie Brown who had rushed for (4) straight 100 yard games went down Sunday with a torn ACL and will be lost for the remainder of the season. - 10/22

Patriots RB Sammy Morris is said to be out for at least a couple more weeks with a chest injury. Patriots TE Ben Watson is also likely to be out for a week to two weeks with an injury as well. - 10/16

NFL Notes: Seahawks WR Deion Branch left Sunday’s game with a badly sprained foot. There has been no word to how much time he’ll miss with the injury but it is likely a multi-week situation. Falcons Left Tackle Wayne Gandy will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. This is huge news out of Atlanta as he protected the QB’s back. Surely a bad sign for the Falcons as Gandy was a 14 year veteran. Bucs RB Michael Pittman was badly injured in Sunday’s game and is likely to miss 1 to 2 months with the injury. Ernest Graham will step in to pickup the load for TB now. Chiefs backup QB Brodie Croyle will get his shot to lead the team in Week 6. Damon Huard is out with a shoulder stinger, however we believe the Chiefs were ready to make this move despite the injury. Cardinals QB Matt Leinart broke his collarbone and is out indefinitely. Kurt Warner will take his spot in the starting lineup. Lastly, Broncos C Tom Nalen is out for the season with a torn biceps. - 10/8

Week 6 NFL Point Spreads - 10/8

Monday Night Football Prediction: Dallas Cowboys vs. Buffalo Bills - 10/8

Carolina Panthers QB Jake Delhomme has decided to have surgery on his ailing elbow and will miss the remainder of the season. David Carr will take his place as the head signal caller for the Panthers. - 10/8

Sunday NFL Picks: San Diego Chargers vs. Denver Broncos - 10/7

Sunday Night Football Picks: Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers - 10/7

NFL Notes: DeShawn Wynn is likely to start at RB
for GB in Week 5. Cardinals stud WR Anquan Boldin is DOUBTFUL this
week. NYG RB Brandon Jacobs is expected to return after
being out for 4 weeks. Redskins RB Clinton Portis expects to play this week. - 10/4

Reports out of Denver are that RB Travis Henry has tested positive for Marijuana. The Broncos won’t miss much though as backup Selvin Young may be an even better option. Attention fantasy football freaks: Run to your waiver wire and grab Young. He is good! - 10/4

The Rams are reporting that QB Marc Bulger will sit a week or two in favor of Gus Frerotte giving Bulger’s ribs time to heal. - 10/3

Good news for Raider fans: RB LaMont Jordan’s injury is not serious. He may return Week 6 after the Raiders get to enjoy a bye week.

The rich get richer: Patriots hard hitting DB Rodney Harrison
is eligible to come off suspension in Week 5. This adds even more punch
to a defense that is playing supererbly. - 10/2

49ers QB Alex Smith has been diagnosed with a grade 3 shoulder separation which is serious but does not need surgery to be repaired. The injury will keep him off the playing field for close to a month. In the mean time, Trent Dilfer will serve as the Niners starting quarterback. - 10/2

NFL Notes: Dolphins RB Ricky Williams has applied for reinstatement to the NFL. A decision is not expected to be made for weeks. Panthers QB Jake Delhomme may be out longer than expected. Buccaneers RB Carnell Williams torn patella tendon may be a career ending injury. The Washington Redskins have signed aging WR Keenan McCardell. - 10/1

Monday Night Football Picks: New England Patriots vs. Cincinnati Bengals - 10/1
