It went from -260 to -240 and is now back at -260 on wsex, so it's pretty even over there.
Hatton will balloon up to 150 but I dont think that will matter much other than make him a little slower. They know they can't match speed, so they are comming in with more power. True Manny has never been hit by someone like that, but Manny has a chin, and on top of that Hatton has to find his target. I think Hatton would have to land a flush shot and even at that I think Manny would take it. Only Morales had the blue print to beat Pacquaio (without controversy) and that was his reach advantage, keeping Manny on the outside. That isn't Hatton's style and he has shown a B chin (at best) throughout his career.
I think Hatton has a chance, much better than a +200 dog. I expect him to take 2 or 3 of the first 6 and then see Manny take it from there.
Wish you the best of luck though, I'm a Hatton fan as well.

The general public is drinking the hell out of the Manny koo-aid. All the better though. Weight is an extremely important factor here.
Paq weighed in at 137lbs... his weight isn't going to fluctuate all too much.
Hatton is going to step into the ring at 150+. And does anyone question his stamina?
Like I said before, I love Manny, but Paq hasn't been hit like he will be tonight. Hatton is going to dish out a beatdown like no other.Leave a comment:

Mayweather vs Marquez is officially on (announced today).
I will definately be at the MGM on July 18th.
Watch Pac state he wants the winner of that fight after he beats Hatton. Whether he wins by KO, UD, or a judges robbery...they will make sure that he beats Hatton so he can call out Mayweather after the fight.
My Pick = MannyLeave a comment:

Collazo is highly underrated though. He went the distance and put up a good fight with Mosley, and in my book beat Andre Berto. Hatton did much better than Berto did.
I read the tickets sold for Hatton fans to Pac fans were about 4-1.
Be ready to hear the chants throughout the entire fight.Leave a comment:

The only win that I really applaud Manny for are the 2 scrape by's against JMM, in which I thought Marquez won both anyways.
For what its worth, Billy Graham (Hatton's old trainer) likes Hatton by KO.
Ricky Hatton’s former trainer Billy “The Peacher” Graham believes his former fighter will stop Manny Pacquiao inside eight rounds when they meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday. He told Setanta Sports in the UK today, “I can see Ricky stopping Manny inside eight rounds on Saturday- somewhere between rounds four and eight. Manny is a great fighter and take nothing away from him but by the time the fight comes Ricky will have an added ten pounds of power and that will be too much. Ricky is just too big, too strong and too powerful for Paquiao. I am surprised that Manny is the favorite for the fight. Everyone talks about Manny’s speed but Ricky is also fast and at the end of the day just too strong. It will be a great fight but I am convinced that Ricky will win - the De La Hoya victory did not show me anything that would suggest he could beat Ricky. He is fast, he is a southpaw which will create problems and he is an excellent fighter. I just feel Ricky is a better fighter and I am confident he will win and upset the bookmakers who currently have Manny as favourite.”
Rumor is (just take it as a rumor) that Hatton had problems with Floyd Sr. and they weren't getting along too well. He won't be using him again in the future. Someone out of Hatton's camp said that rumor was false.
I haven't placed anything on either fighter. I usually try to stay away from media fights like this.Leave a comment:

My question was rhetorical since he hasn't beaten anyone, lol :laughing:Castillo is his most impressive in my book. Kostya was good as well, whether he retired due to age or if Hatton beat him into retirement is a toss up. Collazo as of recent (on the cards anyways).
I dont think Manny's resume is that much more impressive, other than scraping by JMM.
By the way, I read that Marquez wont be comming back until Sept. and I would think that PBF would want some sort of a tune up before going right into Manny. This is all rumor though...
Manny has every advantage other than strength.Leave a comment:

True, but Hatton doesn't care about that. Hatton is simply not nearly on the level as Pacqiuao IMHO. Manny does everything better than Ricky (except clutch and maul), and really who has Ricky beaten that really impresses you?
2 UNITS -------> Manny (-260)

Total setup for a PBF fight. I would off on Hatton until they officially announce PBF vs Marquez, which I doubt PBF will sign until Pac wins this fight. There is a lot more riding on Manny winnning than losing, from all sides of boxing...Leave a comment:
