My last play was on week 4. I've been handicapping, using the same models I always use, but most of the stats are coming at it .500 so I have no edges to play ON or AGAINST.
Still, I'm down one unit here (and I think two in the article picks) and feel the need to try and make it up.
With WNBA, college football, and NFL taking up the majority of my time allotted for handicapping I don't really have any left to deep dive into the CFL. So I'm going to take the easy way/lazy man way out - I'm going to 'cap the 'cappers and Fade them.
I chart two guys just for kicks and to see if they're valuable as Fades. Combined, they're hitting it 40% which makes them a 60% Fade. So yeah, valuable.
For the next couple weeks I'm just going to take any game they match on, side or total, and Fade it.
They both love Ottawa today.
Which means I'm on Toronto.
Gimme the Toronto Tiger Cats -3.
(Just kidding. I know they're the Argonauts. I don't know a lot about Canadian football but I do know that much, eh?)
