4-2 on Tuesday with a nice ML hit on ****gurs. Hopefully some people jumped on that SMU/SOMISS Under as that was one of the better Unders i had seen all year. Pretty predictable game in the mid 50's. 1 point from being 5-1 (joepa special)

michigan +2..........fading someone and also NWU beat michigan earlier in the year on the road and i find this line to be a bit strange, much like the Texas line last night and the Kentucky line on Saturday. I will bite.

my thoughts exactly, interested to see what happens here

    nah, can't fade a big10 bretheren...lol

****GURS +4/+160........kind of missed this one until i was finalizing some stuff. Like ****GURS to win outright tonight and if not at least keep it close. I don't pay a lot of attention to the big east because the big east sucks in football. So hope i read this right......:beerbang:

    running with the following:

SHL +6 1H......VIL has slept walked through many a half this season and with a big game on deck i like the points with the fighting Bill Raffertys

WIS -130.........thoughts already posted on this.

michigan +2..........fading someone and also NWU beat michigan earlier in the year on the road and i find this line to be a bit strange, much like the Texas line last night and the Kentucky line on Saturday. I will bite.

SMU/SOMISS Under122.....fully expect a really close game tonight played in the 50's. Neither one of these teams likes to push the pace and really, the only games that have topped this number for either teams have been against complete **** competition.

I'm out...heading to the NYR/LAK game tonight. Can't wait to hang out with "new york fan"......:puke:

A matchup in the A-10 conference, Rhode Island (-4) at La Salle

R.I is currently in 4th place while La Salle is in 8th

Rhode Island is decent on the road, with a record of 8-2 on the road SU, to go along with an overall record of 17-3 SU. On the road, they are 5-2-2 ATS in lined games. R.I's overall ATS record is decieving because they tend to not cover at home...

They have beaten Oklahoma State, Boston College, and Providence so far this year.

Their last two road games have been against Xavier and Dayton, who at the time were both undefeated at home. R.I. had a rough go at it at Xavier, but pulled out a 1 point win as a 5 pt dog at Dayton, giving Dayton their first home loss of the season.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

La Salle is 5-3 at home SU, nothing to brag about, and 11-10 SU overall. They have played and were smoked earlier in the season by Kansas, Nova, and Oklahoma State. (Nothing to be ashamed of..)

La Salle is 0-4 ATS their last 4 lined games at home

Looks to me like R.I. can cover 4 i nthis one

    Tamin,

LVSC stands for Las Vegas Sports Consultants. They're the big boys in Vegas that most of the books look to when setting opening lines, hence the "consultants" title.

As for why it listed an opener of -2 and is really -8 ....

All I can say is that you'll find that now and then from time to time. The Internet is vast, and ultimately errors happen. Bad human input? Glitch in program? Bad data? Who knows.

GL if you still play NE. I think -8 is still a nice bet.

I grabbed Wiscy at -125 on the ML last night but line is up to -2.5 now.

I like wiscy to win this one but would rather not lay any points and just go for the SU win b/c it will be a close one.

I like the home team here. I don't care who you are, the road anywhere gives the home team an advantage with ALL other things being equal.

    RPI

    MSU #10
    Wiscy #14

    Saragin ratings

Wiscy 87.91, SOS #9 in the country!
MSU 87.88, SOS #61 in the country

Home court = 4.04 accd to Sag. Ratings

    Records

    MSU 19-3
    Wiscy 16-5

    LOSSES

    MSU (3):
    AT Texas...weak
    AT UNC..very weak
    N Florida...average.
    at Wiscy??

    Wiscy (5):
    at Ohio State
    at Purdue
    at Michigan State...Revenge!
    at Wisciy-GB...weak
    N Gonzaga

So I think even though they may not match up well, they will do enough to win one at home.

Michigan State has squeaked by a few times with 1 point wins vs. Michigan and Minnesota on the road. But those are inferior teams to Wiscy in my opinion.

I remeber what Wiscy did to Duke when they came in for the ACC challenge, and I see it being the same way tonight.

I'm confused and would appreciate some help here.

    On Vegasinsider.com it shows this:

    LVSC Open line

    Northeastern -2
    Delaware

but the only other line so far is from Sportsbook.com which has Northeastern at -8.

What is the LVSC Open? I've never seen a line so different on there before. I think the -8 is right, and I was gonna jump all over the -2 if I found it anywhere..
