Kentucky is really defending right now. Teams are shooting a low percentage against them. They have been running teams off the floor with their depth and athleticism .. The confidence level is sky high for this team. They are peaking at just the right time IMO and it's all because of them stepping it up on the defensive end.


Pullen " FEAR THE BEARD "and Clemente put a lot of pressure on defenses. And their frontcourt gives teams lots of problems with their ability to get up and down the court. I think that's the difference again today.. Good Guards and Athletic bigs.. K ST has both

I don't see any reason not to take the favorites as i do believe they have big matchup advantages due to their depth and guard play ..

West Virginia will really miss Bryant today IMO... Mazzulla is a big time liability on offense. You got to feel that Kentucky will try to take BUTLER out of the game and make JONES,EBANKS,WELLINGTON SMITH beat them. With no Bryant, Butler is forced to handle the ball a little too much. Kentucky will amp up the pressure i do believe and cause alot of turnovers today

Its really a testament to both programs that they are where they are this year. Pitt with the losses of the big three from last year. X loses Anderson, Raymond, Brown and their coach. They both just keep on keepin' on.
