I really thought I had that phillies game figured out last night. It was Eaton’s first win vs the Giants and the phils pounded Caine. I was shocked. This is why I only have been doing one unit plays. No matter how much you love a game, is it really any better than another play? Think about it, probably not.
Full schedule for Friday. Only one day game I missed and I could care less about that one. Can’t ever trust the Cubs as that big a favorite. Here are my plays for Friday.
Florida -124 vs San Diego………Good pitching matchup here. Willis vs Maddux. I just don’t know how often you are going to get Willis at home at this price. Willis has a high era for him this year, but the team seems to win when he pitches. Florida is one of those teams that remains competitive even after losing players every year. I can’t figure it out, but you have to give the organization some credit for that. This one just worth the risk in my eyes.
White Sox +137 vs Angels…………I am really struggling to find teams to take tonight. The teams I like (Atlanta, Milwaukee and Detroit) are all over the -150 favorite, so I am not touching them. I don’t play runlines or parlays, so I cannot play them tonight. I think I will try a couple of dogs tonight. I have been playing all favs the past three days. This one sticks out to me for some reason. I have always like Contreras. Sox have lost four in a row, and I think the odds are they will get a win real soon, hopefully tonight. This is mostly a gut feeling for me.
San Fran +103 vs Phillies…………..I really liked the Giants last night and the phils pounded them. Morris is a top notch pitcher and we get them as a home dog tonight. Jamie Moyer has maybe been the phillies best and most consistent pitcher this year and this guy is old. He is overdue for a bad game and my gut tells me this is the perfect spot for it. I hate going against my phillies again tonight, but I don’t see them winning this one. I hate Barry Bonds, but I get the feeling he homers tonight in the win.
There you have it. Only three plays. Nothing else out there interests me tonight.
I have to work a half day Saturday and then I am going to a wedding and a reception, so I will be taking Saturday off from gambling. Back on Sunday with more plays.
