Monday I'm on the Washington Nationals at +125. The Cubbies are starting to play like crap again, losers of six of their last eight games.
I really like Mackenzie Gore. I think this guy could make a run at a Cy Young award before his career is over. He has great stuff and has looked unhittable at times. The Nats have been home for a spell so are comfortable. Chicago had to travel yesterday, which is always a knock against a team. The Nats hit left handed pitching really well too. Lastly, no crystal ball here, but John Meneses looks to be getting out of his season long slump. This guy is a good hitter who can win a game on his own.
I believe the Nats win this matchup at 50% or more of the time, so it's a no-brainer to bet it at +125 odds.
