Yeah, it's been a while.
Still recuperating. Slow process but getting there.

The Asterisk Play spots have been rare in the NBA thus far, just nine of them (including yesterday's column pick Fading Orl) but I have one today.
WF1 says NY should be the Fav, WF2 says Ok is the correct Fav and the pt spread differential qualifies it as an * spot.
(Correction: I had that backwards, WF2 said NY should be the Fav, WF1 said Ok was the right Fav)
Ok opened at -3, went higher, a few -3' are out there but -4 is the common number.
Today's play:
Ok -4
The Thunder won by 25 for an easy cover as the asterisk spot continued to be a $ maker. Unfortunately I don't have one of them today, I haven't done my daily handicapping since January. But I'm going to try to get back into it this week.
For today, I'm looking at a sort of revenge spot.
Max Christie returns to LA in his first game against the team that dumped him. On the season he's averaging 9.5 PPG but since the trade he's averaging 30+ minutes per game and 15.3.
Tonight's number is 11' -135 (at our sponsor Bovada) and with the added incentive of wanting to stick it to the team that discarded and disrespected him (not to mention all of the Mavs players out with injuries leading to more scoring opportunities) I think he can surpass this number.
