In my article on the homepage I gave out two WNBA Regular Season Wins picks. Because a few books had not posted their lines at the time the article was published I said I'd share the numbers I got here in the forum.
With the season beginning tomorrow, books that are going to offer Season Wins have them up, the ones that don't (p**** boys) aren't going to I guess.
My first buy was on the expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries to go Over their total.
The number is available at anywhere from 7 'to 8'.
I got the 7' at -125.
Unfortunately I can only find 7' at one book.
The common number is 8'.
I was hoping to see a couple more houses open at 7'. Getting to eight wins was going to be difficult enough, I didn't want to have to need that extra game to get to nine. I expect it to be that tight.
I always say that sharing picks the general public can't get odds on is an exercise in vanity. Since most bettors can't get the 7' I'll use 8' for my record in the article (it won't count towards my record here as I keep separate records for article picks and forum picks.)
And I also bought in a little at 8' 'cuz I don't post what I don't buy.
My second play is on the Washington Mystics.
I took them Under for reasons explained in the article.
The common number is 14'.
