WNBA Article Correction and Play for Today

Before I get to a recap and record update I need to make a correction. In today's article about the NY/Min game I had the wrong data on regular season games between the two in 2024.
New York lost two of three (not county Commissioner's Cup which they also lost) and both were by more than the spread on tonight's game.

I'll be back with today's pick. Saving this for now so I don't lose the above correction.

    Recap: 0-1*
    Record: 19-16
    Review:
From my article earlier this week:

"Be sure to check the PredictEm forum, I’ll have at least one prop play up there a little later today. Been on a roll with props there, 7-1 in the month of July (which I may have just jinxed by mentioning it. Idiot!)"

And of course that's exactly what happened as I went 0-2.
    Idiot!

Today I'm going with Sabrina Ionescu Ov 4' rebounds.
The books are offering this prop at her season average (4.6) today, with extra juice on top of it.

She's had at least five rebounds in three of her last five games and six of her last 10 so we're playing into a 60% edge there.

But that's not what made me buy her tonight.
In high profile games, the ones with higher stakes than the usual regular season games, Sabrina shined versus Minnesota.

The Liberty lost the Commissioner's Cup Championship game to the Lynx but Ionescu snagged 10 rebounds in it.

And when the BIG money was on the table, the WNBA championships series, she snagged five, four, five, six, and seven in the five game series eventually won by New York.

Tonight is a regular season game but it's a high profile spot.

1 - It's their first meeting since the championship series.

2 - NY was top cat in the league after reeling off 9 straight wins to start the season, but it's Minnesota who now sits on top with their 22-5 record. NY is in second place at 17-8 with a chance to close that gap tonight.

3 - It's being nationally televised on ESPN, rare for a midweek WNBA game.

With all the extra focus and attention on this game qualifies as high profile and Sabrina loves the spotlight.

I'm working on two other props I may buy, will add them here if I do.

    My play:
    Ionescu Ov 4' rebounds -130

    * I thought I had two plays in my last post but only see one? Must have deleted it while doing the writing/editing?
