After looking back at this week, I was thinking along the lines of what you said about myself and my plays even before reading your post. Not so much that I play against whatever, but that I end up talking myself out of plays based too much on the public or aspects not relevant to the actual playing of the game. This week is a perfect example. I layed off Indy, Pitt, Oak, and a few others because of non-game related things, and I lost going with Hou against SD. I definitely think I've missed some plays due to over thinking, but it's a problem that can be corrected.

IMO though, some weeks that's a good thing, some bad. There always does seem to be one or two weeks that are similar to this that public teams have attractive lines but DO get busted. I know I've let that play in my mind recently, as far as being tentative on plays. Glad you posted those thoughts though, because I think that's definitely needed at times throughout the season. :thumbs: BOL!

I think I do subconsciously do that, maybe I just think too much about the public in football since the pt spread doesn't come into play very much so I should just pick who I think will win and not whether the line was pushed off what it opened at(which is supposed to give you the advantage)

Exactly bro and EVERYONE is guilty of doing it! I would be better off looking at a game from a few perspectives (including the line) than examing 20 entries of someone pasting how the line moved a .5 point in the last 36 seconds! LOL! That **** cracks me up everytime!

Why do we not take Indy and NE every fckn week??? It's silly to think there is a team out there that is going to stop the offensive massacre of either one of their offenses! Does taking the dog make us look like a more respected gambler!? Not in my book, brother! However, I do feel many posters on this site take the dog EVERYTIME in fear of being compared to joe public!

There is not one team that can stop NE except for the Colts! The Skins had no chance in covering the spread today. None. Why should that shock anyone?? NE's performance this year has been flawless! Does NE run up the score?? Sure, but as a gambler I love to see it! I love having the right side of a blowout!

I took carolina +7 today! I saw where Indy was riding around 80% with the public and I took a chance! I should be kicked in the head! I liked Indy all week and went against my better judgement and it cost me!

I hope the Colts pull it off next week! :thumbs:
