I like that over a lot. Thanks for pointing it out.

I know what you're saying. Sorry, that laughing guy thing was at the fact Hightower was actually the leading receiver, which is a f'n joke on that squad with these receivers.

I see your side here I just don't see it happening. How did Arizona do on the road last year? They were 0-5 in the Eastern Time Zone (Washington, Jets, Philly, Carolina, Pats) with the closest game being a 4 point loss to the Panthers.

I don't believe Arizona is the better team here, either.

    Good talk:thumbs:

My point was that Hightower contributing will open up the offense even more. Of course he won't be the leading receiver, you better believe the Cards wrs are gonna show up this week. SF D>Jax D by a mile. When healthy the Cards wrs> Colts wrs. Gonzalez went down for Indy and Wayne was killing the secondary. Everyone is down on the Cards, but I just have this feeling the wrs will want to prove something this week. I think Warner throws for 300+, and I think this should have been set at a pickem. I am willing to go against the West --->East trend when I can get the better team as a dog. ou set at 43 looks way low to me. Leaning Cards tt over as well.

Great points guys, especially the ones about the oline. I knew they were banged up but it brings some concerns out. Hasselbeck did throw 2 picks last week, and if he's getting pressured it could be trouble.

    2. The 9'ers dont have a vertical passing game, so Hill will not be standing in the pocket as much as Bulger. Singletary is a hard nose football guy and SF wants to pound the rock. And when they throw its 15 yards downfield max to the WR's or Davis and Gore underneath.

In response to these- SF couldn't run on Zona. At all. Plain and simple I don't trust that offense. I think the Hawks offense is the better one by quite a bit. The points you made about it not being a letdown game I can see- little chance of letdown....

The more I look at this the more I think I will sit it out on a side, maybe just wait till the half. I do lean under for pretty much all the reasons stated- good D, questionable olines.

It's not like they don't have pride and won't want to come out firing. Jax was outgained 365- 228 last week, mostly through the air. They also lost Hayward for the season. I'm not sold on the Jags, but I do think that Zona is a playoff team. These are the kind of games a playoff team wins.....

I do not think Arizona is a playoff team. Warner's age is showing and he is clearly not 100%. I watched the entire game, and he has about zero mobility (not that he ever had any) and seemingly every time he got hit he suffered obvious pain he had to shake off. He's fragile. SB losers consistently struggle out of the gate the next year and Arizona is breaking in new offensive and defensive coordinators. They were 0-4 in preseason. Other then Fitz and Bolden I'm not sure what's to like about this team other than the fact they went to the SB last year. I think thats a dangerous nail to hang your coat on...

Jax also created some turnovers versus a guy who doens't really turn the ball over that much in Peyton Manning. I see their defense causing some problems for Warner and co. in a similar way to the 9'ers last week.

Exactly. The second Singletary senses a let down he'll call time out and run on the field in the middle of the huddle and knock heads like he did in Arizona last week. He doesn't mess around and willh ave this team focused. Chance to go 2-0 in the division to start the season. Home opener. I understand your concern for a letdown UDog and its a valid one. I just believe it doesn't happen in this spot.

Offensively Hill has a pretty solid record as a starter, don't remember off the top of my head but he's well over .500.

I'm very leery of SF this week for a couple reasons. First coming off a big road win where they NEVER could ge it done, could be a letdown spot. Arizona shot themselves in the foot vs SF- 12 penalties for 80 yards, Warner had 2 picks. Zona outgained sf 299-203, so I wouldn't really say they shut them down. SF 3.4 yds gain per play, and Zona had 4.7 ypp. I do agree that they have a solid defense (you don't know how bad I wanted the Bills to draft Willis, and Clements is a top 3 cb in the game) but that isn't my concern. The Niners oline is, which looked terrible to me. 25 rushes 21 yards. You won't continue to win if you can't generate a run game.

I'm not saying the Seahawks are going to be a top tier NFC team, can't give them too much credit for beating the Rams, but they do look much improved. Hasselbeck is a good qb, though he will make some ill-advised passes. Carlson is emerging as a top te in the game, I think now he has more than enough talent to keep the offense balanced.

I think people aren't giving the Seahawks D any respect, but they looked physical and got at Bulger. If SF's oline plays the way they did vs Zona, Hill could have a tough day. I'm leaning on the Hawks, but I'm waiting to see the status of LBs Leroy Hill & Tatupu. Withought them I don't touch the game.....

Thomas Jones had a field day against at Houston and Chris Johnson and Fatty but not as Fatty as I used to be LenDale should give it to H-town as well.
that's what I'm talking about. Titans should be able to control the clock against Houston and keep them off the field as much as possible.

Anyone else like Baltimore as a 3 point dog to San Diego? I think the Chargers will have major trouble stopping the crazy run game of baltimore and flacco is a waaay better QB than Russel. I could easily see Baltimore winning this game, I know the had a close call with KC but they still beat the spread. I think the chargers are overrated and LT twisted his ankle (not good for one of my fantasy teams), Sproles alone is not going to get the fun game going. Someone else is on the depth chart but I just see no chance for effectiveness.

I think there are some good ML shots this week, NYG +130, Balt +145, Cle +140, Tampa +190 (bills are great at finding ways to lose), even Oak +140, especially the first two because I think they are top-tier NFL teams. And it pains me to say that because I HATE the ravens :puke:

Great discussion guys keep it up

Not to mention a victory puts them 2-0 in the division and Sea is a notoriously poor road team. Jax is more of a trend play with the west coast team going east. I think these two teams played last year with Jax winning by 4 and ultimately pushing. AZ still seems to be getting too much public love imo.
    I 100% agree.
