that was just a terrible signing and i would have to think had they known how good carter and richards would turn out they never would have signed him. unfortunately that was the summer before these guys had their breakout years. Briere is a guy who gets all his points on the PP and who needs that.

flmrrz- BOS hasn't played well for a while now. They built that huge cushion and are hanging on. Plus the NHL fked them with the scheduling. They played like last saturday and sunday and this saturday and sunday. Tough to be sharp with like 6 days between games. They are 7-13 in their L20 games....not been the same team, but nobody notices because they went 200-0 to start the season and are still in first.

And yeah, Manny is crap i agree....but they have a 2 goal lead....:thumbs:

yeah I've caught a few games and noticed they aren't the same team but tonight they took it to a new level at least early on, geez it was like fundamental hockey was lost on them. They've taken over now, Pogge looked shellshocked.

Danis is killin me, Richards ringin the backhand off the post late in the 2nd, come on, they could break this game open if they can get on the board, isles have nothing. Crazy stuff a couple nights in a row.

wtf happened to the bruins, manny is **** but coughing up the puck over and over they look like a garbage team instead of one that is tops in the east. They're lucky they're up against Pogge otherwise they'd be down by 2-3 at least.

i mean it's so maddening....follow up great wins at Bufflao, at Pittsburgh and at home versus the devils with a **** effort at home versus Florida and a below **** effort on the road at the NYI, neither of which are playoff teams. you just undo all the great work you did by giving back points in those 2.

i hate this team sometimes. they ALWAYS do this....i mean they are playing defense like they have hatcher and rathje back in the lineup....no energy....Richards has no points in last 4.....not sure why they decide that they don't need to show up in stretches but that is the way they play. I smelled this effort from a mile away....:bang:
