Right, we swept them in 03 and had somewhat of a battle in 07.
I started following hockey in 01, when I moved over by Toronto. Then I come back to So Cal two years later and wonder where all the hockey fans are....haha.

Ducks have the Red Wings number in the post season, we always have. I was thinking Sharks in 5, but it looks like the other way around.

I would love to see a Van vs Cal series. That would be huge.

LMAO I love that clip jml, never gets old.

BTW how much better did our canuck outrights look tonight after the duckies handled the sharks. Hopefully they finish that off and we'll see the flamers or hawks in round 2 and let the wings and ducks beat the hell out of each other and play what comes out on the other side.

Fading the Rangers (if they win....i don't think that thing is done by any stretch) and the Wings in round 2 for sure...but thats just me...what do I know, my teams golfing... :beer2:

I'm liking the bruins depth. They win the East IMO.

On that note...classic moment of 70s Bruins. McNab, Oreilly and Milbury go into the MSG crowd after being provoked by drunks. At 31 seconds, Milbury takes off a fan's shoe and beats him over the head with it. lmao. His own shoe. I bet in the dressing room before the game, he didn't think that is where he'd end up. lol. He woulda got a 100 games in todays NHL....

YouTube - Old time hockey :) Boston Bruins players fight in the crowd

im not ready to jump on the wings bandwagon just yet, they look good again and Ozzie in particular but when you're facing the jackets it's hard not to look fairly decent, that squads devoid of offensive talent outside Nash. I hope the duckies make it past SJ so we can see how he shows up vs them.

I'm torn on the rangers, they aren't the same team without Averys arrogance rubbing off but they can't keep him in the lineup when he's playing like he did last night. I don't think they can compete with Boston, Jersey or Pitt.

I just think DET has their swagger back, they looked vulnerable in the regular season, but OZZIE is on right now, and when you got the guys they have, its just tough to beat, everyone on their team is a winner
Wings had their "swagger" against Cbus. Ozzie was "on" against Cbus. It is EARLY. I still don't buy it..

That's pretty cool...getting Rider season tickets?

The West is best. My fiance is from Burlington and she loves it here! (most of the time)
