Boy, I went down down in flames with the kids from Pittsburgh. Gonna end of 1-4 and the series loss. Without playing the Pens to the death, I would be up a bushel god damnlit!!!! Who lives near Pittsburgh? Willi Wonks and/or Nitts I want some sort of retribution my friends!!!

    Thursday

3-0 last night which probably means 0-3 tonight, haha.. That seems to be my trend in these playoffs. Good luck tonight fellas!!!

    SIDES: 12-8 (+6.35 units)
    TOTALS: 0-3 (-3.65 units)
    PLAYOFF RECORD: 12-11 (+2.70 units)

    1 UNIT EACH
Flames (+125). I still believe in the home ice Calgary monster. Kipper looked solid last game, and if they Flames can get out early and not take stupid penalties I think they can take the series back to Detroit all squared.

Penguins (+190). Maybe the Pens are done, but this is such great value I felt I had to play it. Hopefully, they play a 4-3 open ice type game and it becomes anybodys game to win.

Wild (+160). Value play again, as I'm really hoping I just hit one of these two but think both are not out of the realm of possibility. Minny played their kind of game last time out, and hopefully that confidence boils over here and they play well.

    Wednesday

3-1 last night, as only Pittsburgh let me down. I really think the Thrashers are done, but I just can't bring myself to lay the -220 for some reason. Kovalchuk fighting was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

    SIDES: 9-8 (+3.35 units)
    TOTALS: 0-3 (-3.65 units)
    PLAYOFF RECORD: 9-11 (-0.30 units)

    1 UNIT
Devils (-120). This is a bull**** line, why are the Devils favored? I'm playing this because I think Brodeur is simply too good to keep playing this bad. It's a little disturbing though that I saw he's like 6-10 in the playoffs since last they raised the cup (And 4 of those wins were in pitiful Rangers sweep last year). I thought this line should be flip-flopped personally.

Sharks (-150). I think the physicality of the Sharks is wearing on the Predators. They had a shot in Game 3 to take the series back, but couldn't do it. I've always felt the Sharks are better, so I'm playing then at home here with a chance to bury the Preds.

Sabres (-200). The Islanders have played well really in all 3 games, but Buffalo is simply just better than them. They are deeper, faster, and better coached IMHO. The DiPietro "boost" is gone by the wayside now and I think the Sabres win a 4-2, 4-3 type game.

    Great Hockey Night Tuesday

Look out American Idol, haha (yea right). Why do they have to put five games on the same night as 'The Shield' too? Had two miserable 0-3 days to make this a stale playoff run thus far (though I had unposted VAN/DAL under in Game 3 I'm not counting). Impluse play Sunday night. Good luck tonight fellas!

    SIDES: 6-7 (+1.15 units)
    TOTALS: 0-3 (-3.65 units)
    PLAYOFF RECORD: 6-10 (-2.50 units)

    1 UNIT EACH
Rangers (-140). MSG should be alive tonight, hockey is often forgotten about in this area with everything there is to do, but when the Rangers are "good" and the fans believe it's a whole other story. This Ranger game is a HOT ticket tonight and home ice should be a huge plus. I expect the goal scoring trio to play better, but I also expect Hedberg to play worse.

Penguins (+100). I can't believe this line is where it is personally. Thought it should be minimum -120 in the Pens favor. Maybe that should tell me something and I shouldn't play it, but I'll take the talented youngsters and the nudge, Roberts, to get it done tonight at home.

Wild (-110). Honestly, I just don't think they'll swept. Disappointed in Minny as I thought they would win the series. Hopefully, they show some pride tonight and give a game back to the fans.

Flames (+120). Playing their home ice advantage here really. They played just about the worst 5-7 minutes of hockey I've ever seen to open Game 2 and had an uphill climb that pretty much no team was going to overcome (even with Kipper).

Lean to the WILD/ANA and DET/CAL unders too, but not gonna bother with totals for now.

Cuse- i had no problem with an over play in that game. i think my point was pretty valid. If you liked the NYR and you liked the game to go over, the safest play for an over would be teh NYR Over2 1/2, as it would be impossible for the NYR to win and have the game go over and not score 2 1/2 goals. Didn't know you only played with a local. GL!

    2 UNITS
Sharks (-160). My beloved Devils are gonna lose that series I think, wow. Had Buffalo earlier but forgot to post it. Like the Sharks to play physical and control this one.

Thanks for your opinion, but I felt as I felt. I think we are all entitled to our opinions on how we think a coach's decisions might affect the team. Obviously, you can't pass judgment on anything in life until after the fact. Hindsight is 20/20. I played the OVER because of the goaltending change and the fact that I felt they would tighten up the penalties in that series since it was the lightly called in Game 1. Looking back, it was not a good play.

Also, I didn't play OVER 2.5 goals because my guy doesn't offer individual goals for teams. Again, thanks for the advice tho, FF.

    GL!

I kind of agree with FF...everyone says starting Hedberg is a bad move. BUT, the way Lehtonen played in game 1, anyone would have been an improvement...

Cusefan's mets/devils suggestionboxguy- GL!....actually what people aren't realizing is that Hedberg was actually the more consistent goalie down the stretch and outplayed Lehtonen, IMO. He also has done well against the Rangers. If it fires up ATL then it was a smart move. I don't think you can judge the move yet until you see what happens and how the locker room reacts. If he shuts out NYR then i think you may munch some Hartley crow. If you like the NYR so much and you like the Over, then why aren't you playing the NYR Over2 1/2 goals? That would be the best play, IMO, because if you like the Rangers to win and have it go over then it would be impossible for the NYR not to score 2 1/2+ goals. GL!

    Saturday

    Yikes, 0-3 yesterday...

    1 UNIT
Rangers +125. Hedberg in net for ATL, as Hartley makes rash (probably stupid) decision.
Penguins +160. Hoped they would get a split so gonna play it again.
    Rangers/Thrashers OVER 5.5 (+100)

    1 UNIT PARLAY
    Devils (-185)/Sabres (-290)
