An example of my amateurism

- I don't know what you guys mean by "units"

Great question. A unit represents a dollar amount. Some guys bet $5 some bet $20 some bet $100 and others $1,000.00 per game. So an easy way to think of it is if your unit is $100 and you bet on a game at -110 then you win $90.91. So you would write your record as 1-0 +0.91 units. Another way you can do it is just list your record assuming you bet $100/game. You may bet more or less, but it lets others know how well your management (money) is.

2 units would be someone betting twice their normal bet a $5 better is betting $10 on that game and $100 better is betting $200 on that game.

I wouldn't follow these picks ... I've been following this for 2 weeks ... I really probably don't know what I'm doing

Anyway ---> Picks:

CAL / ANA o5 1/2

- These teams have averaged over 6 goals in their game.
- Many times the score sheets this season for these teams have gone over 7 goals.
- The game is 1 of only 2 games on Wed night ... this gives the teams added incentive to compete hard


WASH (-150)

- I think they are going on a run
- Ovechkin is on fire
- Good score differential
- NY is looking suspect
