    CROWNE PLAZA INVITATIONAL

A couple of near misses with some final round fades by Charlie Company (Wi and Hoffman) last week in the Byron Nelson, and Paula Creamer finished in 2nd just one stroke from first at the final Corning Classic. Hopefully I make it over the mountain this week and get back on track as I was two weeks ago!

ALL WAGERS TO FINISH IN THE TOP FIVE

KENNY PERRY 11/4 - The odds aren't great but we all understand why! Perry has made 12/12 cuts this season, his scoring average is 69.79, and he's really on his game. He's won twice on tour and has a second place finish as well. His last couple rounds at The Colonial have been really lackluster with a T46th last year, he was cut in '07, and a T37th in '06. Before that he had won in '05 and '03 and T2nd in '04. Betting that his recent form carries him through here where he as 4 Top10s in 18 starts.

D.A. POINTS 20/1 - He's flying under everybody's radar this year and has really been in good form. On the season he has three Top10s and made 9/14 cuts. He finished last week with consecutive rounds of 65 at the Byron Nelson and finished 3rd his best-ever finish on the PGA Tour. He's got a hot hand.

JAME NITTIES 20/1 - The Big Break Alum has impressed alot of golf writers this season and has turned quite a few heads making 8/15 cuts, finishing with two Top10s, six Top25s. His best finishes are a T4th at the FBR, a T6th at the Mayakoba and a 12th place finish last week at the Byron Nelson. In the last two weeks he has put together his best two rounds of the year in back-to-back fashion with a 271 at the Valero Open where he finished T17th and 270 last week when he was 12th.

RODNEY PAMPLING 6/1 - Pampling is not exactly setting the world on fire this season with one Top10 in his 11 tour starts. However last week he did shoot his best round of the year a 273 at the Byron Nelson and comes into Colonial where he has 3 Top10s in seven starts, with a T2nd in 2008, and T12 in 2007 a 3rd place finish in 2006 and a T6th in 2005. "Home is Where the Heart Is" they say and his heart is always huge in this tour stop.

    BOL to ya!
