  • Acosta vs Rios 2-26

Another fan pleasing fight. This can be no less than a banger.
I seriously can't find odds on it yet. I've seen Rios (rumors and oversees) from a +115, to a pick em, to a -190. I really don't know what it is going to look like come fight time but I'm on Rios.

You have the boxing fans claiming Acosta will win but I think it's all bark. Not a single one of them would have the guts to place on him against Rios at a dog or fave. Rios is steamrolling his opponents (so is Acosta) but Acosta is winning with counters and style. Rios is literally beating people up, old school Cotto style. All that flashy boxing non sense will go out the door as soon as Rios applies the pressure.

There is a science to boxing, and then there is an all out fight. Rios is going to make him fight his fight. Acosta has no choice. He isn't skilled enough (in my opinion) to work a master piece for the full 12.

    Rios by a mugging.

    Waiting for the official lines...

    Acosta +160
    Rios -190

I was really hoping the lines were going to be a little closer but it seems like Vegas has the right idea on this one.

    I'm on Rios

        That's right!!!!!!!
        And the NEW!!!!!!!!!!!

        Rios is a bad mofo.
        Sickest fight all year.
Acosta was out on his feet.

All betting aside, I'm really happy for Rios.
He finally got his shot and I just couldn't be more excited about his accomplishment.

Great job and congrats to Rios and the whole Oxnard camp.
