that is exactly my point. it goes both ways and that is why it is impossible to have a normal discussion about Duke basketball. too much bias both ways.

GM- i agree with most of that. Here is the problem i have. As a group of fans, you are some of the most unrealistic and myopic fans that exist. Honestly, your team wasn't very good this year. No big deal, teams all go through down seasons. You had them winning the ACC tourney and getting a 3 or 4 seed as recently as 3 weeks ago. I mean lets get real here. It is impossible to have a normal basketball discussion about Duke because Duke fans can't be honest about their team and the rest of the public hates them and can't be honest either. I think i am being pretty honest in my assessment of them and i don't like or hate Duke.

I called this one tonight, I said I would not be surprised if we lost tonight. It was really a perfect ending to the year because these are the exact games we have lost all year long.

I thought we were still a solid team this year, just couldnt learn from our mistakes.

I agree that UCLA is in another class.... but we were talking about getting TO the sweet 16

People are obsessed with Duke man, you and me both know that. You saw how everyone acts after a Duke loss. I dont want to sound like an arrogant jerk when I say this, but people are obsessed because of our constant success. We have been the most consistent program for a long, long time now. People remember, that is why people keep talking about it.
