gonna post one of my bigger plays so far this season. here are some reasons:
this is NOT the long beach state of old. they've lost their top 9 returning scorers from last year. now, in fairness, they've had a couple of guys step up. most notably Donovon Morris, the former Fresno State kid averaging 17 a game this season. L.B. has done ok ATS going 7-5. regardless, i don't think vegas has a great handle on this team yet. that's just a gut feeling.
Anthony Brown has underacheived so far, but certainly there's plenty of time to put up the numbers that were expected of him. A nice surprise has been C Nunnelly (a nice bonus against an, at best, avg L.B.S. frontcourt). Pacific is hitting close to 40% beyond the arc. That, coupled with their frontcourt presence makes me think they cover this one.
