    Early Picks for Saturday

Hey, first time posting! I've been following your posts the last two days and wanted to get involved. Hope I can help out. Of the lines available, heres what I like:

    North Carolina -11
    Wiscosin -3.5

I like UNC-11 because they're playing well and the game is in Charlotte, so its practically a home game. And the last time these two teams met (in Chapel Hill), UNC destroyed them.

I like the Badgers because they're playing good solid ball and they have a much better road record (playing in Indy) . You never know what team will come to play with MSU. And WISC did beat MSU by 15 but it was at home.

Hope this helps and let me know what you think. I'd love to get your feedback.

        Kent St-1
        PITT+5

Kent St. is now leading the MAC conference but I am still a little uneased about their performance against Miami (OH) and Akrons great play against WM. But I stick to my pick because Kent St has already beaten Akron twice this year and the game is in Cleveland. Practically a home game for the Golden Flashes who are 16-0 at home.

PITT is playing well right now. They even beat Gtown back in January but things have changed since then. It was about after the Gtown game where they started their downward spiral. But they have battled back by beating two teams (MARQ and LOU) who beat them in the regular season. Also, having worked with Jamie Dixon and the PITT squad, most of the team is from NYC (thanks to the recruiting of former Ast. Coach Barry Rohrsen). A lot of these guys played against or with eachother for AAU ball, high school ball etc and I think they're pumped to play in front of their old home crowd. Look for PITT to cover, or possibly win.

Solid effort from WISC! A strong 26% from the field with 18% behind the arc. Atleast they kept it close! Let's hope they learn how to put the ball in the hoop the second half b/c if they do, I don't think MSU will be able to keep up.

Great comeback but WAY TO MISS TWO FTs WITH 8 SECONDS LEFT TO TIE OR WIN!!! unbelievable! I was hoping this win would nullify the UNC hiccup. Unforunately, I start off 0-2 with this site.

            Sorry guys!
