No they didn't. Marquette backers almost got screwed because the refs were too stupid to call either intentional foul on Burke. When a 6'11'' guy sprints the length of the court after a made Kentucky basket, and then is sprinting up and down the baseline under his own basket (30 feet from the basketball) trying to stay away from his defender like he has the AIDS virus, no condom, and raging hard-on and Jasper sprints after him all over the court to foul him..... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's an intentional foul. They did it once, ok, refs missed it. But the 2nd one was the most obvious off ball intentional foul ever committed. If they call either one of those correctly, it's 2 shots, the ball, 2 more shots and the lead is in DD's and the game is over with 1 minute to go.

But the refs are stupid. Marquette backers won, and deserved too. Billy Gillispie is one shady dude who will stop at nothing at the end of games to win, and the refs need to realize alld the **** he pulls ands tart calling it.

I cannot remember the last time I saw an intentional foul called off the ball. I actually hate that term anyway. It is fairly obvious at the end of most close games that most fouls are intentional. I think they should just call flagrant fouls and call them flagrant (as I believe they do in the NBA.)

I can see what you're saying Cuse, Marq winning outright was never really in jeopardy, so it only fits they pull the cover out. On the other hand, the Kent st/UNLV under was the biggest hose-job I have seen in a while. fouling down a stupid amount. I got the better of the number @ 128.5, so the half point loss was just the cherry on top of the **** you sundae.
