GL, JoePa.....not sure about the Xavier game though. Traditionally, Xavier plays quite well BEFORE the Crosstown Shootout....its the game after (which lately has only been a couple of days later) the Shootout which has given X fits.
Last week, Miller got his 100th career win at X after they beat Auburn. X got up 22 points, then started dogging it, allowing Auburn back into the game. After the game, Sean Miller was PISSED, to say the least. On his radio show after the game, he said that if we get out executed, fine, but as long as I am the coach, we will never get outhussled....I can guarantee you that. He said he was going to shake up the lineup and that practice the next couple of days (after Auburn) was going to be like they were 0-7 instead of 7-0. Coach speak? Maybe...but I happen to believe him.
Holloway will be back for X tonight...his minutes will be limited, but that can only help. Honestly, I see an ass whipping tonight. OU's front line can't even come close to matching up with X's.
I'm actually considering a 1st half play on X as I think they will come out tonight playing with passion and intensity.
