went to the game. not sure that was a bad beat IMO. i think that number was very sharp. UCLA had between a 6 and 9 point lead most of the game, they led by 7 at the half. The 2 times UW made their runs was when for some unreal reason, ben howland decided to play all his scrubs at once including jerime anderson who had 5 turnovers in 2 minutes of play. he was so bad that the minute he came in UW started pressing. Anderson came in with a 7 point lead and in 45 seconds it was gone. 5 turnovers and a charge so actually 6 turnovers in 2 minutes...he is god awful and how in the world he is a D-1 player is beyond me. i watched him play locally in HS and for the life of me could never figure out how he was going to UCLA.

Then UCLA would get collison back in and it would go back to 6, 7, 8.......

to me, a game that hovers around the number give or take a couple points most of the game is a sharp line and you just feel bad in the end for whoever was on the wrong end of it. what makes it worse is to lose by a 1/2 point even with that garbage running 3 at the buzzer. that game was swinging all game long between 6 then 8 then 4 then 9 then 7 then 10 at one point (41-31) then back to 6.........actually it was a good game to see in person....good crowd (dude- people were leaving with 3 minutes left...unreal...typical UCLA crowd honestly)

UCLA has some real issues though rebounding the basketball and they are probably one of the most careless teams with the basketball.

get it back tomorrow wonk....:thumbs:.....when do the skyhawks tee it up again...:dunno:...they owe me one after last saturday.
