Purdue and IU have their own satellite campuses, but they share at Indy and Ft Wayne.

PU is an engineering/science school and IU is an arts school, so they try to offer a full deal at the Indy and Ft W campi.

Never minded them until we were at Rupp Arena in 2002 for the Elite 8 match-up with Kent and some beer belly loud mouthed IU guy chest/bellybumped bumped my wife who was wearing a Kent sweatshirt and she fell to the floor. She was holding the hands of my then 7 year old son and 8 year old daughter, lost their hands and nearly got trampled. It was wall to wall people like a stockyard in there and they were trying to get to the restroom. She was so scared because she couldn't find my son for a couple of minutes.......a few friends and I tried to find the a-hole but to no avail!

Nothing in life was much better than a Keady-Knight IU-PU game when both teams were good. I was in school during the chair toss game.

IU has a law school, music school, med school.....PU does not, but PU has a huge music hall....and some kickass engineers, many who have walked on the moon. :thumbs:
