You said the fishy line wasn't the only reason for your play, but I don't see what else would lead you to believe this would play out. Not that I doubt you, you obviously a better capper than I, just curious how you picked this one, as I was all over the Deacs when I saw the line. (By the way in the discussion thread I said only way Wolfpack win is to take the lead out of the gate and never let up.. so far that's been the case).

NC State has played good ball at times this year. They played great vs. MD in the first half. The VT loss was a hangover effect from the close loss at GT. They are not a true basement team.

They had a great situation today and as I said that line was nuts.

Fair enough. The one point I would argue is them being a true basement team though. They've finished 10th, 12th (last), 10th, and probably 12th this year in the conference in Sidney Lowe's 4 years as coach there. They've been pretty consistently bad. Either way, win or lose, today it looks like you were on the right side.

They have some solid wins this year. Duke, At FSU, at Marq, at Aub, Austin Peay, Akron, plus close losses to Clem and GT. They would kick the butt out of any other so called basement team.
