GL tonight, BB. You deserve some luck tonight after the horrible news out of Purdue today. I want to be the first to apologize. I'm like the Black Cloud of Death when it comes to picking NCAA tourney teams.....here is what I posted in the Saturday discussion thread...

"On to more pressing matters, I've also pretty much convinced myself that barring some kind of matchup nightmares, I'm just going to pencil Purdue into the Elite 8 and likely the Final Four....since I have historically sucked at my brackets, how much are you going to pay me to have Purdue out in the first or second round in my brackets? LOL. Am being serious about my feelings about Purdue's success in the tourney this year."

I can't help but think I was the kiss of death for Purdue. That is a tough tough loss. I've got to imagine everyone in West Lafayette is pretty much doing this right now....:puke:

Is Hummel a junior or senior? That just totally sucks.

Hummel is a junior and was nominated for the Naismith (one of 30). It really sucks, but they still have a good core of guys. Quite frankly, I will take the Big Ten Championship if they can get it and then just hope they can put it together to get to the Final Four. I cannot name a school that has had so much success over the last 25 yrs that has not made it to the Final Four. Moore, Johnson, Kramer, etc are decent and should give everyone a fight. Maybe this will spur them on to fight hard in every game.....
