The Aztecs have a loaded and experienced team, which has earned them the last spot in the top 25 in the country. It hasn't quite translated on the court the way they would like. They have struggled vs a poor Indiana-Purdue team and needed a big second half run to put them away. They also had difficulty against Wisconsin Green Bay down by five at the half and were also even with Long Beach St. in their opener at intermission. Miami, Ohio had that same Wisc-GB team on the ropes before falling four points short, have enough to stay within striking distance here and getting double-digits against a team that has failed to put 40 minutes together yet, is inviting. I'll go with Miami Ohio in this one.

PACIFIC -2.5 2ND HALF vs. Arkansas State W

.....They have struggled vs a poor Indiana-Purdue team and needed a big second half run to put them away. They also had difficulty against Wisconsin Green Bay down by five at the half.....I'll go with Miami Ohio in this one.

Don't forget that SDSU also won AT Gonzaga and they haven't shot less than 50% from the floor all season. As a matter of fact they shot 60.4% vs. UWGB and didn't make a 3-ball because they didn't have to. Also I like the fact that Miami had a tough and emotional game with UWGB last night! SDSU overcame a 22-point deficit to beat Wisconsin-Green Bay 79-70 and they were successful because they finally started playing defense forcing the Phoenix into outside jumpers and totally disrupted their offensive flow. They do have a loaded stable and if Steve Fisher can get them out of the gate fast they'll get breather this weekend vs. SD Christian College while Miami has Ohio State, and rivals Dayton and Xavier on deck! No rest for the weary!

Boy talk about some clankers......BGSU is 1/11 in early shooting at home versus Duquesne! :laughing:

AND, Miami,OH the benefactor of some homestyle cooking with 7-7 FT shooting......6 fouls on SDSU and 0 on the RedHawks!
