    2011 NCAAB Tourney:
    Dogs: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units)
    Chalk: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units)
    MLs: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units)
    Totals: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units)
    Futures: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units)
    ---------------------------------------
    Overall: 0-0-0 (+0.00 units) // 100.00%

Getting a little ahead of myself, but wanted to keep everything in one thread for the tourney, and I already have some action on the futures:

    2011 Men's NCAA Championship - Outright

    Brigham Young University +3000

    1 unit

    - best (scoring) player in the country, BYU plays a decently somewhat difficult schedule. Basically rolling the dice for decent payout with the best player college basketball right now.

GL! Can't wait to get the MADNESS started!

What do you think about St. John's? I haven't even looked at futures, but they seem to do well against better competition.
    2010 NCAAF: 10-5 (+4.5 units)
    2010 NFL: 18-5 (+12.6 units)
    2010 NCAAB: 34-24 (+8.6 units)
    2011 MLB: 33-50 (-10.34 units)

*Past performance is not an indication of future results.

          - my futures not looking too good after the Honor Code violation incident, but play on!

          Thursday:

          West Virginia -2.5
          - playing on the fact that Clemson left Dayton, Ohio at 2am Wednesday, flying to Florida and playing an 11am game on Thursday. West Virginia's played a pretty tough nonconference and overall schedule, so hope the Mountaineers don't let me down.

          Pennsylvania State +2.5
          - I think Penn State's been through the gauntlet of the Big Ten, and are battle-tested for the tourney, I like them as a 10 seed getting a couple of points against Temple, who are no slouches, but I'm going with gut on this one so it should already be chalked up a loser lol.

          Gonzaga +1.5
          - this is a spite play. So you KNOW it's an automatic loser because my spites are far from cash cows... Everyone is on St. John's nuts, and rightfully so, but those guys seem to play up to their competition, and likewise play down to their competition... all of those memorable wins came in the comfy confines of home at MSG, so on a neutral court with everyone on their nuts, and an 11 seed only getting 1.5, I will take my chances with the Bulldogs.

          - Incidentally, Gonzaga is always the Cinderella/Dark Horse/Darling/Splooge/favorite, but never comes through. I think at least for tomorrow, playing under the radar will serve them well. Hopefully.

          Wisconsin -5
          - another spite play lol, everyone seems to be raving about Belmont. The line even reflects this as they are a 13 seed getting a mere 5 points. Going the other way and praying defense and tough-nosed Big 10 mentality wins the day.

            Friday:

            Texas -10
            - Oakland's a talented team, looking for the Longhorns to clamp down on D and cover.

            Villanova -1
            - the Wildcats did not end the year on a good note, losing 5 in a row SU against some tough teams in close games, looking for them to get off to a fast start against George Mason.

            Memphis +5.5
            - of all the hubbub we hear every year about 12 seeds v. 5 seeds, I like this one at least to cover. I have no idea why, another gut play = potential loser lol.

            Georgia +5.5
            - people are ready to crown Washington at least in the early rounds, I'm looking for Georgia to provide a respectable close game. The SEC was no pushover conference, but whether that translates to the tourney remains to be seen.

            Indiana State +12.5
            - Although I don't give much stock into Syracuse's history of bowing out early in the tourney as a high seed, this is more of a play on Indiana State, who has played a respectable overall schedule. They've banged around with the likes of Purdue and Notre Dame, and went on a little run towards the end of their conference schedule after a bump in the middle. Just looking for a cover here, a SU win would not shock me although I don't have the huevos to place ML on it... or do I? I still have time lol

            1 unit each

            GL everyone! Enjoy the weekend

              add:

Pittsburgh +625 to win the NCAA Championship

              1 unit

              - I personally think of all the regions, Pitt has somewhat doable road to the Final Four. IMO Florida, BYU, Michigan State, K-State, can be had if they have to face them. They may not want to face St. John's if it comes down to it, but I think these guys are also battle tested, balanced, tough, and hoping their rough style of play will translate into defense and wins!

              - Looks like I put my eggs into the Southeast regional basket lol, but although I am rooting for BYU in spirit, I really think/hope this one has a better realistic shot with decent value.

both teams not shooting particularly well, but I like the pace of the game, taking my chances with the total

had pace right but BU went cold too early.

                      try again with

                      Marquette/Xavier u73 2H

                      1 unit

                      - again hoping the deliberate pace holds up and under cashs

25+ shot attempts and 35+ attempts for each team, looking for better percentages in the 2H to cash the over.
