Madness opening day 3/19

After my worst day of the year on Wednesday, 0-3, I thought yesterday would be a good day to take off.
Bad move.
After all three Asterisk Spots lost on Wednesday there were two that qualified yesterday for the Fade, and they went 2-0.
Missed out on banking two.

I have three that qualify today.
WF2 Asterisk Spot says take VCU, Howard, and St Louis.
WF2 Asterisk Spot is 3-6 after the two losses last night.
Not crazy about laying all those points with Michigan but I'm not going to get shut out again.

I'll be back throughout the day adding plays.

Didn't like laying that many points with Michigan this morning, like it even less now.
Still hoping to add a later game based on how my models perform in the early games, if I can find an edge.

A 31 point Fav up by only 4 at halftime?
Disgusting.
That's what I get for not listening to common sense.

Most of my bets are made because of the handicapping systems I have. Sometimes I bet because of my gut feel.
Didn't need either one for this one, just plain freaking common sense to not lay that many points. Should have just laid off it and use the other two games I qualified.

Or, I could have taken during my handicapping this morning to see how Michigan does as a Fav of 25 or more points.
Then I would have known to not bet the game.

Or, I could have checked last year's round one to see how huge favorites did and I would have known to not buy this one.

NC is up by 14 points with 11 minutes left, so hopefully I'lI be okay there to get back to even for the afternoon, with one game left if I don't add any bets.
