Well considering all the penalties and not capitalizing on the mistakes by Rutgers, I thought it was a pretty bad performance by USF.

BTW, VTech beats BC next week. I can see VT being 4-6 pt favorites.

And then Penn St beats Ohio St next week in a white out.

LSU, welcome back to the top spot:beer2:

I didn't read through all these posts but quite simply Grothe cannot take those sacks. He needs to learn to get rid of the football and they win the game. He also needs to learn what an 'audible' is and learn what a 'hot route' is... (maybe he should watch "Wedding Crashers", hahaha). That was a very, very poorly played half of football by the kid.

Red 7, Red 7.... Hot route, hot route~~~~~

Well that was a good game. Congrats to the Rutgers bettors. Easy money out there tonight when you fade the high ranked team on the road. Went against that strategy but I shoulda known Rutgers would play the game of their year and USF would play like ****.

although I will give UW credit for 1 good year in 2001 in this decade. If that is when they scheduled that game, then bully for the buckeyes.

no, you miss the point. Of course they have to play their conference, don't be a smarta$$. But if your conference is not very good (which the big 10 hasn't been in several years) your out of conference schedule must be above board. They are very lucky that no one else is good this year, or they would be left out of the picture due to a sorry strength of schedule. As it stands, they are going to be rewarded for scheduling patsy out of conference games.

And don't give me UW--they haven't been good for 10+ years. The weren't good when that game was scheduled.

AND WHAT WAS THE GOOD TEAM THEY SCHEDULED? Don't give me michigan because you already argued against that conference opponent.

lmao.......first of all, they play 2 in state schools every year as part of a contract between the ohio schools. second, you make a really dumb statement. yes, they scheduled the big10 games......that is their conference...... ...and yeah, you got OSU...they deliberately scheduled big 10 teams this year because they knew they would suck.....you sleuth you.... ...and name a school that doesn't schedule 2 bad teams.........at least they schedule 1 good team every year which is more than i can say for most teams.

Oh come on now, they deliberately scheduled Akron and Youngstown as their first 2 games of the season. And at the end of the season, should they go undefeated, they will have beaten at the most 2 top 25 teams (Purdue at #23, and Michigan who is #25). Granted they didn't know michigan was going to suck, but they had a pretty good idea that they could handle akron and youngstown, along with the rest of the sorry big 10. Next year, when they play OK, we'll get off of them for their schedule.

Not really sure who the best team in the country is, but I suspect they still reside in Baton Rouge.
