Wow did those crappany lions look great on Saturday (insert eye roll).......that is what you get for playing 3 awful teams to start the year IMO. They hadn't been tested and i don't think were ready for Iowa being physical with them like that.
But apparently the way they played running the ball and overall in those first 3 games was a pretty good indicator after all. QB is suspect at best and i think they may lose one if not 2 more big 10 games.
at least the mitt did something right this week...lol.....Leave a comment:

Gawd I hope you're right bro....saw how ISU controlled Kent last week and caused a couple big fumbles. Kent has a veteran line and rookie backs but don't run like Army, but you know the Cadets aren't gonna throw it much if at all, so sell out for the run Clones! :thumbs:Leave a comment:

Counting it down......Massillon @ Fort Steubenville, Friday, October 9! You flying in for that game?.....i personally think the UAZ side is one of the best of the weekend. I think that is begging for OREST money and UAZ might have the best defense in the Pac10. OREST really has been ordinary this season. TOTALLY AGREE, & O-St was horrible against Cincy last week.
on a related yet unrelated side note...lol...we will find out this week how good PSU is....not because IOWA is any great shakes but they will be by far the best team PSU has played so far. Not sure if they just haven't been real focused so far or if they really do have some issues like being able to run the football. CORRECTO.....They have had trouble running the ball and against weaker competition. We'll see if they decide to try and open things up abit since they've been running between the tackles so far and throwing safe passes. Once problem they have had is picking up blitzes. Clark took some big shots from Temple last week.....Leave a comment:

Hodown....that game always scares me and with good reason! Not sure what to think if Sean Lee doesn't play, but am hopeful that Navorro Bowman makes his return at OLB. We've missed him desperately on D this year. PSU has yet to find a running game and they've have limited success against weaker opponents this year. I think Stanzi and Clark are the difference in this game. Don't know much about the Iowa receivers but Moye and Zugg have really stepped it up for PSU. They have been playing everything close to the vest on offense so far this season because they haven't had to open things up. Me thinks it's a close game with PSU eeking one out like JoePa in church on Sunday.
The Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes are meeting for the 22nd time. Penn State owns an 11-10 series advantage.
The visiting team has won 13 of the 21 series games.
Penn State won the last meeting in Beaver Stadium, 27-7, in 2007, but the Hawkeyes won, 24-23, last year in Iowa City.

i personally think the UAZ side is one of the best of the weekend. I think that is begging for OREST money and UAZ might have the best defense in the Pac10. OREST really has been ordinary this season. Only worry is that UAZ is really really one dimenesional with Grandkoswkis out or whatever his name is. They have been terrible in the red zone this year because they have no go to receiver at this point.
