    Kids FBall Week Whatever (11/5)

    Recap: 1-0
    Record: 14-11
Review: I didn't have any forum plays last week.
The week before that I used BG/Kent St Under 48.
    They combined for 45.

    NEXT!

T1 says N Ill/Tol will stay Under the total tonight.

    T1 is 10-16 on Unders, a 61% Fade.

    I'm on Ov 42.
    (Correction, got 41')

    Saturday morning.

Update #1: From my college football article this week:

"NP Overs are now 3-10 on the season (a 77% Fade), Unders are 8-5 (a solid 61% play ON.) Only one game qualifies this week, AF/San Jose St Under.
It’s not an automatic buy for me because Air Force was in this spot once already this season, facing UNLV.
And they combined for almost 100 points."

After doing my Saturday morning handicapping update, AF/San Jose St is still the only game that qualifies.
That sucks, I was hoping for a couple more Overs to Fade.

Still unsure if I'm going to buy this game or not because of that 100 point Air Force game. Doesn't help in my decision making to know that the total has dropped and I'm not getting the best number anymore.

    Back with more.

Update #2: As noted in my article on Stan/NC I was waiting to buy the Tar Heels, hoping the hook would drop off.
Right now it's still -7'all across the board.
Some houses have extra juice on the Dog, some on the Fav.

I doubt it's going to get to -7, but it can't hurt to wait a little bit longer.

If I don't see it moving in my favor I'll go to one of the houses that has extra juice on Stanford to get the best price on buying the hook off.
I'm not crazy about betting on The Belichicks in the first place, so I'm certainly not going to burden my bet with the extra hook over a TD.

      #3
      Stanford at NC.

First possession, two sacks for the NC D.
      So far, so good.
Now it's the offenses turn to show that they came to play today.

First down, QB gets tackled. Refs call it roughing.
Announcers say bad call by the refs.
I agree, but 15 free yds for me.

Three and out. No imagination on play calling.

      Back on D.
      Strip sack!
First and goal from the 7.
And I need sevens, to cover seven; no FG's.

      First down, lose a yard.
Second down, QB overthrows wide open TE in the end zone.
      Third down, incomplete.
      FG.
      Wasted opportunity. Incompetent F'ers.

      Q1 Stats
      Plays: Stanford 19 NC 6
      Yards: Stanford 42 NC 6
      Way to go, Belichick.
This, at home in NC, to a Stanford team who is 0-4 on the road, last three losses by 35 pts, 24, and 28.

      Q2
NC, Holding. On a planned QB draw.
How do you hold on a draw??!!

Next play, a QB rollout, TO HIS RIGHT???
      For a LEFT HANDED QB???
WTF kind of play calling is that, making the guy throw across his body???
He fumbles, Stanford ball in NC territory.
What's the name of that two-part Tarantino movie?

Nepo Baby/Son of Bill's D holds them to a FG attempt.
      They miss.

(Why all the updates and play-by-play? Two reasons.
One, I'm usually watching the game with other people to talk to, quiet afternoon at home on my own today.
Two, I did this once before, and my bet won.
      Silly stupidstition, trying it again.)

Beli's Boys go three and out.
Stanford's defense gives up an average of 30 PPG.
But against Beli's Boys they're looking like Ohio State.
An absolute pitiful performance by the NC offense in the first half.

Stanford kicks a FG as the first half ends, 3-3.

NC has an embarrassing 47 yards of total offense in the first half.
      FORTY-SEVEN!
      At home!
Against a Stanford D rated 97th in the country for PPG.

Time of possession Stanford 20:27 to 9:33 for NC.

And I'm experiencing firsthand why North Carolina fans are shouting, Kill Bill!
